My experience as a volunteer ICT trainer was achieved at RSVP (the Organization of Senior Volunteers) through volunteering to conduct varied ICT workshops and talks at RSVP and other organizations. Since my retirement in 2001, after working 30+ years in an MNC and serving in a variety of administrative and office support roles, I have remained active and took up volunteering with a zeal, which bring cheer and joy to the lives of many seniors through my community service, and have also made many new senior friends. I have a keen interest in ICT and willingly share my knowledge with fellow seniors. My achievements in this field include being appointed as an Infocomm Wellness Ambassador by PA/IDA in 2012, and was awarded a special commendation as Volunteer of the Year Award 2011-2012 by RSVP. I also have an unique classroom teaching style, preferring to have a highly interactive engagement with participants and giving practical tips on how to use computers more confidently.
