Have just renewed contract with Starhub for cable broadband + cable TV + home line but didn't sign up for HomeHub late last year:
1) Contract with another telco for mobile service is still valid
2) We have managed to salvage the poor internet connection on our own with our cable broadband when Starhub has not managed to. No one from Starhub is able to confirm that with fibre broadband, would the situation improve or if it worsens, what can be done. If we still sign up for fibre broadband, we'd have to stick through the contract period of two years with a possible worse-off internet connection that has no solution or be penalized for early contract termination, as advised by Starhub.
3) Renewal packages have never been attractive all these years and this is one feedback from a family who has always been a customer with Cyberway and Singapore Cable Vision many years ago till today. Little competition provides few choices for consumers.
