I've recorded a number of my kids' favourite cartoons and shows on my Hubstation, but was wondering what will happen to it if I ever upgrade or change my box. Is there a way to transfer the programmes over to a new box?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I am afraid that you are unable to transfer the recorded programmes in the HubStation to another device.
Since the TS is on a topic I am trying to seek some advise, I will borrow this thread.
As you mentioned it is not possible to transfer recorded programs out of a HubStation, what if I have 2 Hubstation?
The idea for not I understand is copyright issues but for me, it's more that perhaps recording a program say in Living Room HubStation, my mum wanna watch it in the Master Bedroom. Is there any way for me to transfer between the 2 "Actively subscribed" HubStations within the same premises?
And can a DVD Recorder be hook up to record programes to DVDs for self use within the same premises to be played by another DVD Player/Recorder as for the above same purpose?
Similarly, the programme cannot be transferred from one HubStation to another HubStation.
There is certainly 1 way that you can record the programme.
However, the advantage of using a HubStation to record programmes is that you can view a particular programme and record another programme that is on another channel at the same time.
If you are using a external DVD recorder, you will be recording the programme/channel that is tuned in to.
Honestly, the reason behind Hubstation not allowing medias/recorded programes transfer is to?
