Cannot activate prepaid SIM card--no connection/service

Hi, I bought the SIM card some time ago, but have totally forgotten about them until now.  When I inserted into the phone I noticed there was no service/reception, and cannot dial  *142#  to activate.  Could someone please help thanks?

Oh, OK.  Thanks for your prompt reply Julaina.

 

Just a thought, if someone does not use either Messager nor Twitter, he/she would be stuck with the issue......

 

Anyway, I'll give your suggestion a go.
