I have been using my Mobile Hotspot to my Laptop when I am outside.
Lately, I have noticed that the broadband connection is getting worse. The mobile hotspot tethering will last for a few minutes and it will go off line (no internet connect).
Initially, I gave a benefit of doubt that it must be my Samsung S7's problem. Then I have decided buy a SINGTEL SIM Card and used as the 2nd SIM slot of my S7 phone.
Whenever my Starhub broadband connection is down, I switch-over to my 2nd SIM card (SINGTEL) and the connection is up and running very fast.
My question - is the Starhub mobile bandwidth is oversubscribed?
Hi dennis_sg
Does restarting your devices or switching your SIM into another device help resolve the issue at all?
Yes, I have tried restarting my device. It helps, but for a few minutes only. The connection got disconnected or intermittent again.
I have not try using another device. May I know what is the rationale behind it?
If by switching to Singtel SIM Card can you give me a continuous broadband network connection, why starhub doesn't.
Let me get this sorted out for you. Can you provide me with your full name, NRIC, contact number and email address via Private Message and we'll keep in touch?
