TV box + Home projector

Nowadays the home projector is very popular. I find it convenient as the screen can adjust bigger or smaller. The projector just work like TV and able to project screen from phone or other device.

Anyone know it is possible to connect Stathub TV box to the home projector? And how to connect? VGA? HDMI?

Hello LeeWen. First off, one thing to consider is that unlike a TV, a projector will have to rely on external speakers for sound. So you'll setting up two separate connections for video and audio.

If the projector supports HDMI, you could try connecting the two devices with an HDMI cable first. The main concern is that there might be no sound when you hook up the audio output to external speakers, since HDMI handles both video and audio signals.

If that's the case, you could then try an HDMI-to-VGA adapter so that you could connect the video output of the TV box to the projector through VGA without interfering with the audio signals.

If the project has HDMI input and built-in speaker, should be able to project the TV box directly using HDMI and there would not be any external speaker needed.

One drawback about projectors is that it would be difficult to view them in the day time if your room is bright (e.g. in the living room with windows opened). You will need to darken your room using black-out curtains!
