D-Link DIR859 AC1750, connecting with Nucleus Connect, EcoLife HG8240H

Hi,

I have the above router that is not able to connect well with Nucleus Connect (NC) for my 1000Mbps network.

Both direct connect (thru' the router) and WIFI are not working. It works for a few seconds or max a min+ after all kinds of reset.

I approached Dlink tech support. They taught me to set the Mpbs from auto to 1000Mpbs. It worked for like 2 mins. After it's dead again.

May I know if there is any kind of setting I need to do for the Router to get it working with NC? Please help.

I was not around when the Tech were here to setup the network. Maybe it was working for a while.

2 things I have done to ensure, it is not the router or the NC issue.

1. I used my older 100Mps linksys router, everything works but can only run at 100mbps of course.

2. I have replaced a new router with Dlink thinking it was a router issue. And I used the new router at my working place network to test if it works for both direct link and WIFI. Both cases working fine.

Kindly advice.

Thanks a lot.

Woon

Maybe you need to update the firmware.

Why not reset the router, press the pinhole button for 10 seconds. Reset the settings. Usually when I screw up my settings, I redo them. Resetting router takes 10 seconds. Resetting ur ssid probably another 2 minutes or so.
