Im currently subscribed to starhub's 1gbps fibre plan.
Using an AC3200 router with b/ g/ n/ ac wifi network.
Laptop is connected to router via 5Ghz wifi in ac network
I SHOULD be reaching around 400~600mpbs considering the fibre plan and the wifi router+laptop wifi chip capabilities.
However I am only reaching 90mbps on ookla speed test for both upload and download speeds.
It seems a lot of people are going through the same issue on this community so I suppose starhub should have an easy fix for this?
Does restarting your modem/ONT and router help resolve the issue at all?
Same same but different.
Paying for 1000Mbps but the download speed is really shambolic...

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It happens last Saturday and still having this problem.

First, there is a problem with the speed of the Fibre BroadBand. Then there is a problem with the speed test. The technician came but also couldn't explain why and it is still not solved !!

Yesterday afternoon, someone called and said will get back to me but till now..., NO SOUND NO PICTURE... This is frustrating ....
Let me explain on this speedtest result why it is so low.
Currently there is some issues on this which is due to Flash version 30.

The solution indicated in the link above which may not easy to install and setup, as i am unable to.
However there is an alternative method which i am using.

Please note that it is like similar to mobile Ookla speedtest App.
(Note that it may include the setup additional software related to Microsoft.)
So far in my speedtest result are Download 684mbps and Upload 960mbps.
