Since yesterday, my wifi has suddenly stopped working completely. I called up the D-Link guys and got the WIFI Router (DIR-868L) replacement assuming that the router was defective after troubleshooting on call with the D-Link support for 5 hours. However, even with the new router, the wifi still does not work.
When I connected the LAN wire directly from the modem to my laptop, I get horribly slow speed (note that I have a 1GBPS connection on paper) i.e. 60 MBPS Download and 198 MBPS Upload.
I have already called Starhub Support 1633 more than 3 times yesterday with no solution so far. A comment was made that the Wifi Router is somehow faulty. I just don't understand how a new router can be faulty when the connection itself seems to be the issue here.
I sincerely hope that this message finds its way to someone who can help me with this issue.
