I Hold a starhub fiber broadband 1G bps and costs around $49/Month, just 1 month left.
Recently, I'm moving hse with all the hardware, asking for a relocation.
STARHUB replied a charge of $120 relocation and activation fee which is definitely not worth to keep for just 1 month.
Then I request to terminate or just leave it to expire in one month.
However, STARHUB reply there will trigger at least $30 for disconnection.
Is it reasonable that we pay higher for relocation than signing with a new one-get more discount?
is it reasonable that we pay for activation and still need pay for disconnecting (even all the hardware are so easy to dismantle )??
If your contract have completed 21 months then you can do recontract.
For recontract you can do relocation at the same time, as similar to new sign-up.
In this way there will not be any Relocation charges.
Wonder how come they did not advice you accordingly.
i am not starhub staff.
