I am unable to log into any of the blizzard games, world of warcraft and diablo3, if I'm selecting the Americas region. I'm also unable to reach their battle.net site and their forums. This has been the case since the morning of 7th Feb. It's now 12 hours later, still unable to reach any of the above sites.
Can StarHub look into this? If I switch to the 4G hotspot on my phone via SingTel it works.
Have power cycled routers etc. Still not working.
Not sure if DNS works... I changed mine to the Google DNS but it doesn't work. I'm not experienced with network stuff so this is all arcane to me.
Luckily I had an old VPN subscription from long time ago. But I hear Blizzard may ban you if they see suspicious address, so I'm not too keen to use this method as well.
So yea, STARHUB, please fix this!!!
Same issue here, cannot reach https://us.battle.net/ also, cannot login to Black OPs 4 which need us.battle.net to authenticate, seems some DNS error in Starhub's server, if switch to Singtel, it works.
Please also update me the solutions. almost one day but seems nobody answer that.
Amazing, it works now, one hour after I post it. I've to say the community is an amazing place and those web masters are owsome. I used to have very horrible experienced with starhub customer care/techinical support about the the latency, very simple issue but they spend almost 3 months not solve it. I decide to quit Starhub and post it in community, the webmaster help me to solve it within half an hour.
