Previous tennant hasn't terminate their broadband contract.

Hi. 

 

How should i able to move my fibre broadband contract to new tenancy place. But the previous tennant hasn't terminate his broadband contract.? I believe they left Singapore.

Hi @taufiqrusdi, let me just clarify if it is a StarHub broadband connection? Also, maybe the service is under your landlord's?

Thanks for the response. 

The Router is Starhub. and the Landlord mention that the broadband will be under tennant. 

 

Can I terminate it and transfer my current Broadband contract?

Hi Taufiq, you need to get approval from the previous tenant to terminate the service since we cannot install a connection if there's still a prior connection.

Is the appoval in a form of letter or can be an email or whatsapp screen capture?

any document need to be present? if the tennant is not in Singapore anymore. 

any is there any fee for the termination?

 

Please help me to solve my issue . In the meantime should I disconect the current Modem?

Did you already fill out the relocation form?

I suggest that you submit the relocation form first so that StarHub would be able to check if we can move your fibre broadband to your new place. Also, just to confirm, are you sure that the previous tenant didn't terminate his service?
