Noticed in the morning of 10 Jun around 8am that the red light was up in the wireless router provided by Starhub. The best they can do is arrange for a loan of equipment. To rub salt to the injury, they have to say it is a loan out of goodwill. Jeez, Starhub really don't care about residential customers.
OpenNet Terminal -> Fibre -> ONT -> Cat5e -> Wireless Home Gateway
Any of the above can cause a no lease of WAN IP.
I noticed a number of ARP request on a tcpdump doing a direct ONT. No DHCP lease was obtained on the WAN.
