Low download/upload speed for 1 Gbps Fibre Plan

Hi all,

I have recently shifted house and has also transferred my fibre broadband from the old house to the new house.

I have done a speed testing at my new house and noticed that the results doesn't seem right. The plan that I have is 1 Gbps.

Results for wifi: https://ibb.co/gtjPcb
Results for Direct cable: https://ibb.co/cM5Ksb

For direct cable, shouldn't the download speed be somewhere around 800-900Mbps for a 1 Gbps plan ?

As for wifi, I understand it depends on the router and wireless network card that I'm using, but 75.44Mbps is way too low, could it be something wrong somewhere.

Appreciate someone here can advise regarding this.
Thanks.

Re: Low download/upload speed for 1 Gbps Fibre Plan

Hi @ chengp

Quick check - have you tested the connection using a LAN cable to your laptop/PC to see if the issues recur after a restart of your modem/ONT and router?

Please send me your full name, NRIC/FIN number, account details, contact number and email via Private Message and I'll be in touch.
