Intermittent Fibre Broadband Connection

Hi, I am living in a new estate in Marsiling Greenview.
(Woodlands St 13, s732183). I was just wondering if the network
for the fibre is it stable? Basically, I have been experiencing breakup
when connecting to wireless via router. I have tired to relocate the router
to the main point but the result is still the same. The breakup is almost
30 secs before it reloads again esp loading of videos. Even Facebook and
Instagram videos are having problems of loading. This is the reason that I
subscribed to a 1000 mbps to ensure there is no disruption. Kindly advise.

suggest you select Aggressive Switching to see if it helps by doing the following:
Under [Connections] select WiFi
Select [Advanced]
Toggle to Smart Network switch

Hi @ronyippcGreenR , where to i go under connection? Using a macbook though.... Under Wifi there's no option for Smart Network Switch.

Sorry Andrew, I misunderstood your issue to be one regarding wifi on your phone.  My bad.  I suggest to try and update your network adapters/wfif drivers  to see if things improve.  At least that's what I would do with a Windows PC - I would do to my PC (Dell) support site and check for updates.   Good luck

So anyone has a solution to that? or i have to make an appt with starhub technician to come and check? Anyone? Been having this issue long enough.....

Like so many people are hitting so high for download and upload speed. Why not me when i still recontract for a higher plan and yet given peanuts?

Hi @andrewac, sorry for the inconvenience caused. We advise you to reboot the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and the router to refresh the internet connection. Aside from that, have you tested your connection using a LAN cable to your laptop?
