I am trying to access my Dlink Dir-850l router but I dont seem to have the correct password. There is a password written on the bottom of the router but I cant access the router setup using this password. I am using 'Admin' as the username.
Should I reset the router to factory default settings? In this case, do I need any special settings in the router to make it work with starhub broadband connection?
The default password for Admin is no password (blank).
There is no special setting for fibre broadband. The default setting should work.
Just have to set the wifi password and check the wifi security settings.
I am having the same issue. I tried reseting the router and yes it allowed me to configure when I connected. But after the setup, I can no longer access the admin panel using the password I entered during the setup.
This is what you can do.
The router must be switch on.
Look for the reset button.
Press+Hold the reset button for 15 sec.
Then switch off.
Wait a while and then switch on.
As what @Ah-Pin-Kor mentioned
The default password for Admin is no password (blank)....
The password on the router is for SSID password, default.
It is not the router home page password, unless you input your own password.
SSID username and password do have a default.
This depend on your preference.
For me, i use the default username and password is my own.
I am not Starhub staff &or related to.
