Hi All
The bandwidth speed is dependent on various factors including the following:
1. The distance from the wireless base station/access point;
2. Number of users surfing at the same time at each wireless access point;
3. Performance of the Wireless Network Interface Card (NIC) used; and
4. Physical obstructions (ie. walls etc) between user and wireless access point.

I am stuck with a brand new airport express bought 2 days ago as my attempt to bridge failed badly. Thanks for your patience.
Care to tell how did you do it?
Maybe you could try this and see if it works?
(Assuming you're using the default DLINK IP address 192.168.0.1)
You'll have to disable DHCP server on the Airport Express (AE) and make AE as an DHCP client using the Airport Utility.
1. Connect your setup as shown:
Connection between Airport Express & Dlink Router is LAN-to-LAN (ethernet cable)
Connection between PC & Dlink Router is by ethernet cable too.
2. Can your Airport Utility detect your Airport Express in this setup?
Hi.
First of all, I sign up for the 200 Mbps package with a so call "free" Mac book Pro. I regretted it. Period.
The wifi connect speed in the living room is slow (around 20-30 Mbps only).
Bedroom even worse, cannot detect the signal at all.
Although tested 200 Mbps on cable, but how many of us are using cable device? especially my home has 4 users - which is the primary reason why I sign up for a higher bandwidth??
Plus, the modem keeps kicking off. This morning is worse, died completely. Now have to take leave tommorrow and wait for the Starhub technician tomorrow to resolve the issue!
Is this the kind of service quality that Starhub provides?
Really regret that I have to pay $128 for the next 24 months.
1 provider should have a 1 stop service. Not getting aconsumer to navigate telco operators, home gateway providers (Dlink,HuaWei) and reading the fine print of all the terms & conditions.
I am HORRIBLY DISSATISFIED with the WiFi speeds.
At least you people even get 25Mbps.
I'M GETTING LESS THAN 4Mbps DOWNLOAD SPEEDS ON MY WIFI!!!!!
PEAKED AT 3.31Mbps.
But on wired, I peak at 127.53Mbps.
Should I do the maths for you?
My WiFi speed is 0.026% of my wired speed.
DON'T EVEN TRY TO TELL ME IT'S BECAUSE WIRELESS SUCKS COMPARED TO WIRED.
AND MY LAPTOP IS ONLY ABOUT 3 METERS AWAY FROM MY DVG-N5402SP
RIDICULOUS!!!
Called D-link a few times, Called Starhub a few times,
My problem, slow WIFI speed is still there.
Who can help to solve this problem?
1) Use own router? which one is compatible?
2) Use repeater? will it really help to boost the WIFI speed?
3) or just stay at slow WIFI speed for another 24 months?
I'm also getting VERY frequent disconnections.
1) I don't think they allow use of other routers other than the ones they provide you with.
2) Repeater would really be your last resort, It will boost, but still much pathetic % or your wired speeds.
3) Most probably.
I am a gamer, I play lots of online games like Dota 2.
But ever since I signed up for Starhub, I CAN'T PLAY.
I get disconnected every few minutes it's not even funny anymore.
It's been WEEKS already and I'm so pissed off.
Should have stayed with Singtel or moved to M1 instead. Urgh.

Hi KaiBoon
This is rather a standard statement (you use it on a few posts), any alternative solution will be much appreciated.
Can i use own router? Asus RT-N56U compatible with Maxinfinity?
