Re: Trade in

Hi  @YodiGarcia

Yes, you can trade-in even it is under contract.

This is because contract is based on subscription on 24 months.

For trade-in, just the mobile handset and charger.

The Sales staff will check on the condition of the handset.

For trade-in, do check on this link;

This is acceptable in Starhub shops only.

Re: Trade in

Hi  @YodiGarcia

Your existing contract is separate issue and not tie with the handset that you pruchase at that time on the contract signed.

The handset cost is already being paid when you sign the contract and you pay for the handset upfront.

Meaning, the handset cost is paid based on the amount stated is upfront.

Contract is contract for the use on Mobile line service, nothing to do with the handset (as you had paid upfront).

Once you are allow to recontract, it is as new contract, and the existing contract will ceased.

For the trade-in, you can use the amount for purchase of handset.

If the handset is more than the trade-in, you need to top-up.

If the handset cost is lower than the trade-in price, there is no refund on the balance of the trade-in.

In order to make use of the balance, you can use it to buy accessories.

Do note that ensure you make the final payment to include this accessories.

Meaning, before making payment, you must do it together with the accessories.

This mean that the trade-in and contract is for 1 bill only, which is the handset and accessories, if any.

Hope this anser you.
