will be back on 23 jun. can you PM if starhub can't find any issues on your end by 22 jun?

I wanna leave cisco DPC3925 integrated router/modem running from afternoon onwards, at least this seems to worked for now!

 

i do alot of my work at night, and have to struggle with another telco 3G when starhub cable is down Smiley Sad

I will be back in office on Friday. I think I have your details that you have submitted earlier today. I will help you check on the Early Termination Charge when I am back. Don't worry about it.

I just need 1 piece of information from you. When you do not have internet access, what is the LED status of your modem? For example, US or DS blinking?

That information can help me in determining whether the issue is due to noise or interference like what Howard has mentioned.

LED status looks the same whether working or not
POWER, DS, US, LINK are hard on
LINK was on but blinks occassionally (indicates data transfer according to manual)
TEL2 blinking

when i login into Cisco DPC3925 console via web
when not working .... Status->Internet Connection will show

Internet IP Address:    0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask:    0.0.0.0
Default Gateway:    0.0.0.0
DNS 1:    0.0.0.0
DNS 2:    0.0.0.0
DNS 3:    0.0.0.0


when working of coz all IP addresses are properly assigned

Also, as I mentioned previously, today I tried leaving Cisco DPC3925 on from afternoon (2 ~ 3pm) onwards.
when i try internet access tonight, it works!

 

For previous 4 nights, whenever i turn on Cisco DPC3925 around 9pm~10pm, it never work at all

Updates, so far, internet OK when powering up modem at the following (approx) times
