Tried bridge, messed up and now want to revert to Cisco router

Hi

I have a cisco dpc 3925 and Asus rt 56u and had a rather unsuccessful bridging attempt. The thing is I want to go back to the original cisco router driven connection, and I'm unable to do so. I suspect it's because I changed the cisco to "bridge" instead of "router"- the problem is, even with the lan cable connected to the computer, I'm not able to bring back the router admin page for the cisco. Can somebody please help?

Thanks
Wilks

Re: Tried bridge, messed up and now want to revert to Cisco router

Hi,

Look for the reset button at the back of the router.  Use a pen or sharp object to depress it, hold it for 7-10 sec, your router shld reset to factory settings.

Hope it helps.
