No internet for 3 days...

Wi-fi became unavailable 3days before.

Restartig rooter has never effected.

cisco dpc3925 currently four lights from left are lighting green, however next four (ether net) never light.

Other light just Wireless-Link and tel2 the two lights are flashing green.

It seems that Iphone or any other computer can connect wi-fi, however cannot access any ware.

Can you help me?

Wireless is due to router to provide.

Most new router do have dual band for LAN and Wireless connections.

Router is best located as high as possible to transmittee signal.

There should not have any obstruction to the router signal.

Also do not have any devices &or equipments using 2.4GHz, such as home cordless phones.

 

IPhones and most new phones are all dual band.

Meaning 2 bands, namely, 2.4GH and 5GHz.   (5GHz with better speed).

 

To order for others to assist you, do include more clearer details on your problem.

Thanks for reply.

My explanation might have  been unclear.

My problem is that I cannot access internet though my iPhone or other computers can catch the signal from rooter. 

And I could access internet 4days before for about 1year. I don't think something around it have changed....

(Maybe it is best to read thru first before proceeding.)

First, is there any red light on the modem.

Cable modem i am not familiar as i last used was 4+ years ago without any problem.

Or you can start by switch off all devices, cable modem, router, computer & phones with no connection, wifi.

Switch on the router and find the reset button which require a clip to push+hold for 15 seconds and let go (default is 10 sec but longer is better) and switch off.

Finally switch on modem, router and if possible, get a LAN cable to connect from the router to the computer.

This is to ensure that the connection is available.

When both modem and router have fully turn on, both power & wireless icons are green stable.

 

Then check the computer to check if the connection is active or not.

From here, the direct connect (wired) to computer, internet is available.

If there are red/yellow light on the router wireless, connection is no good.

For this, you have to contact the HOTline 1633 CS to tell them you cable broadband is not working.

It is better to turn the cable modem bottom there is this MAC ID.

Take note and inform the CS on your MAC ID, so that CS could contact the respective dept to verify your MAC ID is correct or not.

 

If connection is good, and the router wireless icon is green stable, it is good.

Take one handset to turn on the wifi close to the router.

So that it can detect and connect, good; then do the rest.

Your computer can revert to wireless if nec.

 

By reaching here, your connection should be resolved.

Hi @Gundo, have you tried a wired connection by connecting a LAN cable to your desktop/laptop? That would help to isolate the issue that you're experiencing. Thank you

I've tried it, however I cannot connect to internet with LAN cable....
