don't know about that, but there is a obvious, noticeable and repeatable
difference when IPv6 is disabled. Happens with other computers that are
connected to the cable modem too

Did that. But nobody responded. Called hotline and finally got my connection issue resolved over from the backend after resetting the cable connection the 2nd time.

 

It is also worth noting that if the HDB neighbourhood has alot of overlapping wireless signals, it contributes to the latency/high ping issue as well. Hence advise people to use wireless only for casual surfing and LAN connection to do gaming. If LAN is too far, use the SINEOJI 600mbps homeplugs as they (at this time) are the best homeplugs to own.
