HACK 1: Find your center and get high.
Find the most centralised area in your home and position your router as high as the cable allows. Remember, the higher the better! This allows the wi-fi signal to propagate better and your devices should be able to receive better wi-fi connection as the motion of waves always drops down to the floor.
For those who live in multi-storey homes, apply the same method to each level to get stronger signals on every floor. This is because, for every router there is a limit. If the router exceeds the optimum distance, the strength of the wifi may not be as strong in the end.
HACK 2: Keep items that may interfere with wi-fi signal away from your router.
