How to block apps and pages on Facebook?
Are you tired of seeing Facebook pages on your newsfeed you don’t want to view? Or maybe want to block an app or game so it won’t access any of your Facebook information?
You have the power to block apps and specific pages on your Facebook account temporarily or for good with just a few clicks. When you block an app or a page, you will no longer see updates from them on your newsfeed. Moreover, blocking apps can also be helpful if you're trying to break an addiction to a game or service. Here's how to block apps and pages in a web browser.
Open Facebook on a web browser, select the “down-arrow” in the upper-right corner, and then select “Settings & Privacy.”
Select Blocking in the left menu.
Scroll down to “Block apps” and type the name of the app you want to block then select it from the drop-down menu.
The same goes for “Block Pages,” type the name of the page you want to block then select it when it appears from the drop-down menu.
To unblock an app or page, just go back to your “Blocking” settings and then select “Unblock” next to the app or page.
There you go! Facebook makes it easy to block an app or page that you no longer want to interact with.
