Recontact SIM only plan

I am currently on a 2 year contract. It says that I can recontract from 1 April 2021, contract end 14 Aug 2021. I was planning on changing to SIM only (4G $25 only 1 year plan). I was wondering, after that one year, if i decide then that I want to go back to 2 year contract, is that possible?
