Slow Data Roaming Speed - UNACCEPTABLE

Hi I had signed up for Data Travel Asia Pacific 3Gb. But data roaming was slow in JB the past weekend. And it's highly unsatisfactory. Even WhatsApp message couldn't get through. I'll be going KL in 2 weeks time. If the service is still the same - lousy - i will require a refund. Because the data plan is of no use to me. And i felt like i'm being defrauded if Starhub cannot guarantee its partner network service in data roaming.

How can u help?

Hi Erminghung, please remove sim and try again. Do ensure that mobile is connected to shwap apn.

 

For iOS users:
1. Ensure that the phone carrier setting is StarHub 27.2 or above.
Go to Settings > General > About > Carrier > StarHub: 27.2

2. Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Mobile Data Network > APN: shwap

For Andriod users:
1. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > APN: shwap / Username & Password:

Thanks for replying. However i had already returned to Singapore. The trouble-shootings tips u suggested - i had tried and my APN was already set to shwap.
 
I will be gg KL in 2 weeks' time. If the service is still as bad, i will require a refund. Because the data plan is of no use to me. And i felt like i'm being defrauded if Starhub cannot guarantee its partner network service in data roaming.  The data plan and how it's being activated, is supposed to provide me with greater ease and convenience, but it turns out using this service gives me grief instead. And i will not accept if there's not a satisfactory resolution.

where and how can i seek help if the problem persists?

Network connectivity is dependent on the coverage of our preferred partners' network.

 

If the issue persist, you can send us a private message and we''ll do a check.

Let us know if the issue persist when you restart the mobile device or reinsert the SIM Card ? Thank you

Slow data plus i think been cheated on the promotion on sunday free data..my data when missing as i did not have any streaming videos..im sick and had enough of this starhub telco!

You probably have to reset network settings or something like that. Internet on a sunday works fine for me.
