How to Transfer Ownership of your StarHub Services

Have you ever wondered how you can transfer ownership of your StarHub services to someone else? It’s not as complicated as you might think.

General Guidelines

  • The new subscriber will incur a One-time Transfer Admin Fee of $21.40 (with GST) for each service.
  • Any plan, promotion, CIS, VAS discounts and/or Monthly Equipment Instalment / JUMPhone will be discontinued. Except for Hub Club, it will depend on new subscriber Hub Club status.
  • All account balance (overdue and due on a future date) must be cleared by both parties; existing and new subscribers for all billing accounts under the NRIC / FIN.
  • The new subscriber will continue with the remaining contract (if any).

StarHub TV+ and broadband services

StarHub mobile services

  • Both you and the transferee have to personally head down to our main StarHub shops. If the transferor/transferee is not available to come down, please bring along both your NRIC/FIN and a signed letter of authorisation.

For Singaporeans and PRs, do bring your NRIC with you for verification purposes.

 

For non-Singaporeans, you can bring along any one of the following for authorisation:

  • Passport or
  • Employment pass or
  • Work permit or
  • Social or Dependent pass AND
  • Proof of billing address (must be dated within the last 3-months) or
  • Other supporting documents found here

IMPORTANT NOTES

Mobile

  • Transfer of mobile ownership can only be processed and completed at StarHub Shops as the physical sighting of documents (for both transferor and transferee) is required.
  • The transfer of ownership will be processed in 3 working days.
  • Existing free or paid subscriptions such as Antstream, iQIYI, or KKBOX will be terminated upon transfer of ownership.

StarHub TV+, Fibre Broadband, and HomeHub+

  • The request will be processed in 1 business day upon receipt of the completely accomplished application form.
  • For HomeHub plans, bundled Netflix account will be terminated from the date of transfer of the plan to the new customer. Likewise, the bundled Netflix account will be activated for the new customer after the Transfer of Ownership is completed.

Digital Voice Home (DVH) service

  • The transferee (i.e. new customer) should have an existing Broadband service with StarHub as it is required for a DVH service.
  • The transferee’s modem should be compatible with DVH service (e.g. VeONT). If the modem is not VeONT, the transferee should request for a swap of the modem from ONT to VeONT.
  • To do so, please call 1633 and arrange the appointment.
  • Only after the modem switch (from ONT to VeONT) is completed can the transfer of ownership be requested/processed.
  • The request will be processed in 1 business day upon receipt of the completely accomplished application form.
