Reactivate prepaid number
Greetings
would like to find out if there are any ways to reactivate a prepaid number after it has expired? The number has sentimental value to me and due to my busy schedule I had forgotten to top up my card resulting the deactivation of my prepaid number.

For prepaid SIM card, once there is no top-up upon expiry, it will be terminated.
In order to confirm there is 2 methods.
1. Attempt to do a top-up using this link: >> Starhub Prepaid Top-up Online
2. As you cannot contact Prepaid hotline, then contact HOTline 1633 CS to check for you.
i am not starhub staff &or related to.

One of my prepaid has expired and Happy Prepaid App indicated required to Top-up to continue.
Also when using the Prepaid phone to call Prepaid hotline it also mentioned to top-up to continue.
So i did the top-up and the Prepaid is re-activated with new expiry date.
For your info.
Regards.

Hi @Tomako
Not too sure how long as it can be 1 week or at most 1 month as this depend.
Best is to do the Top-Up now via electronic means > Prepaid Top-Up Online
Just input your Prepaid number and select Main Balance - $10 minimum amount.
Once you click on the $10 (or whichever your prefer in the Main Balance) it will divert to Payment Details.
Payment mode is Credit card either Master or Visa.
Since you are oversea this is only option available Or via Happy Prepaid App.
Unless you do have a Starhub Postpaid mobile able to top up to prepaid which i used this method.
If you do require any assistance you can request here via forum Starhub CSO.
Regards,
Eric.

Are you starhub employee?
Someone has asked me to send my registered name and starhub number to help
reactivate the number.
I can't seem to find that email now.
Are you able to assist?
Or can I just topup again via the happy prepaid app to extend the card
expiry?
Would you know how long I can wait till it would no longer be able to be
topup and reactivated?
Also, does it mean my Happyroam prepaid number is eligible for the Validity
Extension VAS?

Hi @eric3743, just writing to let you know I have finally got a correct answer from Starhub CSO. The number will still be valid for 30 days after credit expiry. I have since recharge via the app with $10 credit. However, when I tried to look for the validity extension VAS in the app, it's not available. That can only be done by dialing *123*200#.
FYI and for anyone else looking for answer to the same queries.
Happy New Year!

Hi Starhub,
I've added $10 to my prepaid balance (to my current $20 balance) - but when I try to connect to *123#, it says I'm "not registered on network"
How do i get around this?

Just to confirm that we can still recover expired numbers for up to 30 days after expiry date. However, our previous credit balance will be forfeited. If you want to keep your balance, please remember to topup by expiry date.
Tried this myself and today found that my credit balance of $10 was gone. What an expensive experiment
