Help expiry date didn't extend?

Alright I bought a prepaid SIM card at late June and the expiry date is 27/12/2014 which is 6 months from the activation date. I have just topped it up by $8 at a 7-11 retail outlet (I didn't use a prepaid top-up card, the cashier just did it for me and I got a receipt by NETS) and my balance did increase by $8 but my expiry date didn't get extended. Help? @_@

$8 is extended by 30 or 60 days. Can't recall well.

$20 is extended by 180 days

HOWEVER for extension starts from the day you top up.

I.E you top up today for $8, assuming the expiry is 60 days, it is still within your actual expiry which is 27/12/2014. So no extension basically.

Warmest regards
Jeff

Okay thank you Smiley Happy Update: I tried topping up $20 via OCBC but it only got extended until 22/1/2015... shouldn't it be more than just 20+ days, thought it must be 180 days since it's more than $17?
