Possible to upgrade old plan 4G3 to new XS plan before 21st mth recon?

Hi Starhub,

I wish to upgrade my current old plan 4G3 to new XS plan before my contract 21st mth, which is in Nov'18.

Can i check:

1) will there be any penalty for the upgrade before 21st mth?

2) will my current MOE CIS plan benefits be ported over to new plan automatically?

& how should i proceed to upgrade my plan? via 1633, starhub app, online or physically at starhub shop?

Reason to upgrade is i can't upsize outgoing minutes for my old plan & have been paying extras for exceeding outgoing quota Smiley Sad

Thanks for your kind attention.

Hi,

If you just want to change to higher plan without recontract & not need a new phone for now.

You can "Change To A Higher Plan" while your contract remain as it is.

This mean that your current contract expiry date remain the same, no change.

And you pay for the new upgrade plan subscription accordingly.

The subscription as well as calls/data would be pro-rated accordingly at the point of upgrade.

Login to your account and select the mobile line number.

At the Plan 4G3 select Change To A Higher Plan.

In the next page do a list of all the higher plan/cost which will be shown for selection.

Once you have confirm it will be permanent from that point until you recontract.

Do note that once confirm there is no way to return to existing plan 4G3.

When your recontract due then you can change to whichever plans you wish to have.

i am not starhub staff.

Hi apihapibear

You can do so via My StarHub App any time now and there will be a $10.70 admin fee for change of plan. Your CIS discounts will roll over to the new plan as well.
