VoLTE not working even after calling 1633

Hi, read a few posts on this issue, i.e. VoLTE disabled after recontracting... called 1633, however the issue of 4G turning to 3G while making phone call still persist.. able to help?

yeah.. CSO told me its enabled.. however, problem persist..

Hi Reddy,

You can try calling 1633 and ask the CS if HDVoice is enabled.

Ask them to switch off and switch on again.

meanwhile do i assume you are using apple? IF yes. make sure 4G is on for Data and voice and not just data only. If it's already on data and voice, do the same thing. Off 4G, then on again Data and LTE .

thanks.. will get them to sw on/off again.. yes its apple.. tried turning on/off data/4G, to no avail..

Yes. I’ve tried all combinations and reset network settings as well.. puzzling as many have it resolve with a call to the CSO..

Thanks for being so responsive w suggestions..
Tried both steps too..
was on ios13 when I got the iPhone last weekend. Called Apple as well. Now on ios13.1..

Called 1633 today again.. CSO said will deactivate and activate VOICE HD again.. however problem still persists.. any suggestions?

It's definitely weird. I dont think there are anymore other options to enable.....

 

Is this Sim Card a Multi-sim sim card?

Yeah, you might need a change of sim card.

Just something that's probably out of the point. but it's worth a try.

1) Reset network settings on apple and try out i did that on mine and worked.
2) Upgrade iOS? For iOS 13 thats a manual option on the phone to off and on..

 

I suspect its either reset network settings or what. What's the starhub version on your phone? Under about.

 

There was some known issues on iOS12 with voLTE and was only fixed after iOS 12.3.1

What’s a multi SIM?
Anyway.. I’m quite sure it’s not a hardware issue as it’s the same situation when I put the SIM into other two phones..
And I just happen to see this thread of same issue

I Guess need some triggering by StarHub tech team to really look into this matter.. not even sure if the last two CSO know about this issue.. seems common..

Yeah.. that's what I told them.. and it's widely reported in their own STARHUB forums.. told CSO that I wanna her to raise my feedback  to tech management team for awareness.. and she told me feedback via website feedback channel..
