Number erroneously ported away

Hi, I have a number which was ported over to giga but instead of giving me a new number, Giga replaced the number with another existing number I had on the Giga. Since the number which was replaced is under Starhub's network, and I can prove that the number erroneously replaced was owned by me, can Starhub give the number back to me?
