iPhone 5 "No Service" problem? Disable LTE.
If you have noticed your iPhone 5 goes into "No Service" and cannot connect to network, you might want to try to disable LTE.
Go to Settings -> General -> Cellular -> Enable LTE -> Off.
It happened to my wife's iPhone, and I almost wanted to bring the phone to service centre, but after searching online, I tried this method and ever since then, the connection has been fine.

Hi.
This method works initially, but when I turn off LTE, I usually do not get 3G network.
I get a small "o" , and the speed is very bad, and almost zero connection.
I cannot even send message and check mail.
And this happens almost most of the time.
I have already changed the SIM card, and still having this problem.
I am still on the 3G plan and not shifted to 4G plan yet

Then I have a lot of issues here.
1.) The SmartSurf network package, as in Starhub Stragery
2.) The confusion of your sales team in mis-leading the consumer to think that to get iphone5, I must switch to the new plan
3.) The SpeedBoost issue for the 4G plan
4.) The nano Sim card replacement last weekend at Plaza Singapura
5.) No Network issue
6.) Drop from 3G to "o" after i switch off LTE
Please get your team to address to these, and I have spoken to the Platimum team last night and expect a answer from them today as well.
