Very High Pings to US or on Online Game MWO

I'm getting very high Latency or Pings from US websites or while playing MWO which is an online game, apparently all of my friend on Starhub fiber is getting the same 500-600 ping ingame. I have done some Tracerts.

Send them an email or something thats what the person on the 1633 number told me to do. You get this high latency nonsense around this time?

Yeah, It starts abt 300+ms around afternoon then builds up to 600+ms around 10pm and holds there till 12am+ then slowly goes down to 300+ms at around 3am

Same here, afternoon was not that bad, evening onwards the lag is insane

yea, shannon, exactly the same thing for me. i contacted the company from that 7th hop, cogentco

They replied me stating that the issue was between telia and starhub, try googling telia starhub lag. you'll see countless posts, all the way back in 2014 as well. heh. seems like a recurring problem. gotta wait for someone to reply i guess.

Well I tried calling their hotline, been on hold for 30mins and still counting, could not even get to speak to anyone regarding this issue

Well Starhub should do something about it! I dont see my M1 or Singtel Friends having this problem in game, maybe they should learn some networking tips from them instead of ignoring the problem.

I'm not even bitching and whining over something that is happening over the past week. This is stuff from 2013, you'd think by now you'd figure out what is going on after 730 days right? right? oh wait i forgot no one is there.

Not only to USA, pings to UK sites are equally bad.
I got 650ms to USA and 950ms to UK.

Poor connection and junk technical support.

You might want to post to their Facebook page, then more people can decide whether to sign up with Starhub or not.

Is it still unsolved ? I was also thinking of switching to starhub from red camp coz of attractive prices. I use the internet mainly for online gaming. Usually its battlfield 4. High pings in this game will ruin the experience.
