twitch.tv is their web cdn not the actual video server so there isn't much point doing a traceroute to it.

It seem that you have convert to Windows 10.

In the past, when there is no problem, which Windows version are you using.

Try to recall, at worst, you may have to reverse to previous Windows version when everything seem fine.

I understand that someone did mentioned something about Windows 10 connection matter.

I am not like  @Ah-Pin-Kor as he is much better.

They  Twitch.tv  do have a community forum.

It seem that most connection problem are those on 1Gbps.

Whereas i am on 500Mbps, there are no complain.

Just a suggestion.

For the past few days, twitch is simply unwatchable. I am on the 1GB connection, and it stutters and stops every few seconds.

Previously, everything was working fine. I tried watching through the website, or through livestreamer + vlc, nothing changes, it is simply unwatchable.\

Has anyone find a solution to this ?

It definitely is on Starhub's side, I tried to VPN through Hong Kong and test Twitch, it is back to flawless in Source quality.

Starhub seems to throttle down Twitch, this is unnacceptable, I don't pay my 1 GB connection for this kind of problem....

Hi

Did you update your flash player to the latest version?
Also you can try to refresh your DNS

Off course, we tried this before bothering asking for help in here....

Wether you try to use it through website/flash, or by using a Livestreamer + VideoLan solution (straight up grabbing the video feed), it doesn't change anything.

When I turn on my VPN however, everything is flawless and works perfectly, it comes from your hand Starhub, and we are waiting for you to communicate back to us something usefull, not some school grade cookie cutter answer.

There seem to be another thread about this.

I am not sure if it is same subject matter.

Doesn't seem to be the same subject, as Twitch is a video stream provider, and has a server hosted in Singapore.

Still waiting for Starhub to come back with actual answer, instead of this "oh, are you running the latest version of flash ?"...
