Slow Optic Fibre internet speed

Hi
I just upgraded from cable to optic fibre(1gbps) yesterday
I tested with my Iphone Xs just next to router : max can go upto 250mbps only

This is the speedtest i tested with my desktop, connected via wifi
location is bedroom
router location at living room : 2M apart

Hi, I'm experiencing a similar issue.

 

I was provided an "upgrade" from my 200mbps (cable) plan to 1gbps fibre optics last year.

However, my internet speed has been slower than when i was on the cable plan ever since the switch.

I have attached the latest speedtest result with this msg - it has been typical since the switch last year.starhub.JPG

I have tried turning off everything and turning it back on again 15mins later multiple times to no avail.

Have you tested the connection using a LAN cable to your laptop/PC at www.starhub.com/personal/support/device-trouble-shooting/broadband/perform-speed-test.html to see if the issues recur after a restart of your modem/ONT and router?
