No internet connection on fibre

Help!! I am not getting any internet connection using the fibre wifi from my home. Rebooting the ont will only solve it for awhile and it will revert back to no internet.

 

This issue started 1 week ago.

 

Im located at 730118.

Anyone can advise? I'll request for a pro rate since i am not using the fibre thru wifi. We are all using thr 4G while at home.

Usually wireless issue is due to router.

 

As there is no mentioned which router model you are using.

Do upgrade the router firmware which could resolved this wireless issue.

 

For common DLink routers models, check this link for the latest firmware;

Should you are not familiar on how to upgrade, do contact DLink tech support hotline 65014200 to assist you.

This procedure would take several minutes, so do call later if line busy as may with customer.

 

After updating, do factory reset by using a pin to push+hold into the reset hole of the router for 10 second, while router is power on.

Then power off and wait a while before power on.

Ensure the ONT is also power off and on at the same time.

If you are updating the firmware.

Take note that after latest firmware update and shouI'd you need to login to the router setting, the password is required as it is the same as the label sticker on the router itself.

 

If you have the latest firmware Or the connection still no good.

Contact Starhub hotline 1633 directly to Broadband tech support line, Not CS.

Request to Refresh your IP, as to explain your connection issue.

Likewise should the line is busy call later.

My router is DIR-868L. There seems to be a latest firmware but i am unable to update. It is unable to download.

 

Already refresh the IP earlier, the problem came back after 45mins. 

 

Now there is no connectivity on the wifi. Check on website, support for 868L no longer availablel. FML.

Looks like i'll call Dlink instead. Since my current firmware is the same as the update on the link you gave.

 

Coz when i check for new firmware, it indicates Have new firmware.

 

Meaning, I currently have the new firmware or there is a new firmware that needs to be updated?

 

Coz however trying to update from there is futile.

 

Till now no SH rep came forward to help? Whats new.

If unsure, you can contact DLink hotline as they will provide the link via email.

And they will follow thru the process with you.

 

Edit:  Click on the tab for previous steps and info.

This latest firmware will resolved wireless signal issue.

Do remember to factory reset after firmware update.
