Intermittent connection and high ping
I had been using starhub fibre for the past 2-3 years and the 1st year was pretty good, but subsequently, there was always drops and connection loses. Initially it was thought that the router had issues, but even after changing the router the issue has persisted. This problem is even worse during peak hours. From 8pm - 1am. I have called starhub customer service but all they can tell me is my modem is connected, but the problem is not resolved. Below is a tracert to starhub.com.
Speed tests by Ookla suggested 2% to 22% packet loss when there is no one using the network. There is no way I can game and sometimes even streaming videos is affected.
