How do I perform a speed test?

For MaxInfinity BroadBand users, you can test your speed on the following pages:

Local

http://broadbandspeedtest.starhub.com/speedtest/

International

http://broadbandspeedtestinternational.starhub.com/speedtest

Do remember to perform these tests on a wired connection!

Welcome to Starhub Community Forum.

Do take note that this is an open forum, so pls do not include your personal details here.

As yours is having wireless issue, maybe it is best to create a new post.

Or another thread with similar problem as yours.

Some just read the title of the thread and may not read.

As you are having wireless connection issue; you may need to provide info such as;

Fibre broadband speed, router brand & model, etc.

There are people here will assist you to troubleshooting.

As i am not too familiar with network issue, as i just resolve my connections problems since last month.

Meanwhile

You can do a search on this forum in the Search bar.

Type in the keyword  "Wireless connection" and wait. No need to click on the Continue.

The result will pop up below the search bar with the wording

Does this information help?

Just click on one of the result and see if the description is similar to yours.

If you need to read on, at the end of that particular result, then you can right click to open next tab.

You could try to press the refresh button on the router, if there is.

The international speedtest website (http://broadbandspeedtestinternational.starhub.com/speedtestv3.1/) is not working. It is showing an error message saying that the license for this speed test has expired. Can you please check what's wrong with this? I'm trying to troubleshoot my connection speed.

Thank you,

Pedro

Hi  @Pedro Gonalves

This is because the link is not correct.

Starhub Local Speedtest

Starhub International Speedtest

As for the International Speedtest, the upload may hang in the ending, as i think is due to, currently Starhub is having fibre broadband connection problem as it breakdown twice within 72 hours, for few hours from 10 pm.

Link should not have any illegal character, such as a dot " . " as this result in not going to the correct location.

Hi @ Anthony S,

Thanks for asking. Are you directly connected via LAN cable to the modem? This will allow you to do the speed test reliably.

Alternatively, PM me your StarHub account details, contact number and e-mail and we will be in touch.
