DCM 712 MOL modem

Hi. I recently moved in to my new apt where renovation works had been done. Applied for my SH services such as CATV,MOL and DVH 2 weeks ago. However, when i tried connecting my laptop directly to the modem, I do not get any internet connectivity. The d/s light keeps blinking. Any idea if the comnection hasnt beem established or if my cable wiring is the problem? Hope someone can advice on this. Thanks!

Check the follow items:

1. Switch off your modem, Untighten your coxial cable from the Cable Point and also the back of your modem

2. After untighten, tighten it back again, switch ON your modem. Check the light of the modem is in Green Mode, one of the light should have an Orange Light ON.

 

3. After doing all the above process, try to surf your net to see whether it is working or not.

4. If the problem still presist, call 1633 for help.
