Please add multi gig fibre broadband services

Please add true multi gig (2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps) fibre broadband plans. The majority of mass market Wifi 6 routers these days come with multi gig WAN and/or LAN ports. (2.5Gbps, 5Gbps or 10Gbps). Starhub's 1 Gbps or even the so-called 2Gbps (just 1 Gbps +1 Gbps in actuality) do not allow users to fully utilise the supplied bandwidth, which is quite frustrating given that work from home arrangements (which require more bandwidth overall) have become the norm as Covid-19 does not show any signs of receding over the next few years. Wifi 6 routers and laptops/mobile devices are widely used among the population to address the issue but require multi gig broadband to optimise wifi bandwidth usage. Starhub's current fibre broadband plans need to be upgraded to address increased bandwidth requirements especially as the government ramps up bandwidth-intensive initiatives to accelerate Singapore's transition to a digital economy where Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence are core economic growth drivers.

Moreover, StarHub already offers these 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps fibre broadband services on the enterprise side. https://www.starhub.com/business/products-and-services/data-connectivity/connecting-locally/super-direct-service.html

So, there really isn't a cost issue to simply use existing network infrastructure on the enterprise side, remove/downgrade the enterprise-level features meant for businesses, and package and price the multi gig fibre broadband services accordingly for a wider-range of users, including the prosumer segment. This move will help widen Starhub's product offerings range to attract a larger customer base and bring in new revenue streams to offset the group's lack of overseas operations when compared with counterpart Singtel.
