Application to pay through GIRO rejected!!!!! What a load of nonsense!!!


I made a giro application through the bank OCBC lately. I was told by my bank that the application was rejected by Starhub because the applicant's name was invalid.  What a load of rubbish!!! Just think, I am making an application to pay and they REJECT my offer to pay!!!!! When the bank approves of this... how then can Starhub reject it.


The giro application was made to pay for my mother's cable tv, so it is basically a third party application. I had included a copy of the bill together with the giro application, how then can there be a mistake with the applicant's name?
