Billed for service I did not request - Internet TV

I am shocked to find I get charged for a service that I have never requested.

 

I have just logged in and requested for a termination of the service.

 

Please let me know how I can request for a full refund.

It makes me mad looking at the auto-response email.

 

I get billed for a service I did not subscribe. And when I got to the website to cancel the service, I get an email saying:

"By accepting this offer, you have waived your right to unsubscribe from StarHub TV service/ add-on pack without Early Termination Charge (ETC)."

Why do I have to waive my right to anything ? I don't get it.

I was wrongly billed for a service I never requested. And if I "accept the cancel offer", I will have to "waive my right" to something ? What logic is this ?

I assume Internet TV and Starhub Go are referring to the same thing.

 

If I have requested to have the Starhub Go removed in Feb 2018, why is the service still billed to me in April ? Only when I check the bill today did I realise I've been billed, and I quickly go online to unsubscribe the service.

 

If the service is already removed from my account, why am I being billed at all ?

Hi,

 

Suggest you to write to forum staff to resolve this "funny" issue.

 

This issue may not be able to remove by yourself as i had tried before.

The charge of $9.90 (incl 7& gst) is due to activation via Starhub Go App, hence i was also unable to remove in the same way you are doing.

I was in the same situation and i don't know how it was activated and only found out after being billed for a couple of months.

Only when i repeatly told the CS that i cannot remove/delete the said item, then they did it at their end.
