Hub ID does not work for wireless@sgx

I have followed the instructions to login to wireless@sgx as follows: hub\name#emaildomain@m1net.com.sg.

However I always get authentication error. I have requested to Starhub to reset the password. And I am able to login to Hub site.

What is the problem?

How to resolve it?

Thanks

I will try again. Previously I posted but no one bother to call me or help me.
And when I called the help desk, my password was reset and I still have the same issue.

Hi Vincent, could you leave your contact at http://bit.ly/StarHubCares and allow my team to help you check on the issue?

Hi Vincent,

You may wish to try out the following:

1) Select "Wireless@SG" SSID instead of "Wireless@SGx".

2) Launch your web browser and you should see the Wireless@SG web page.

3) Select "M1 Net" as the service provider

4) For username, use "hub/", instead of "hub\"

5) Enter your password.

See if the above helps. Thanks.

regards,

JL

SGx requires you to use the M1 wireless@Sg app to install a profile in your phone to auto connect

It's not available for connecting by connecting directly using your phone

Can check with M1 for more details as this is a M1 service (They took over from QMax)

Not sure about hubid (Is Starhub a provider of wireless@SG?). But I can use the m1net.com.sg id to connect to the SGx secured setwork. Using android 4.4. No need to install any app. Just need to configure one time. After that auto connects once network is available.
