usb port on hd interactive set top box

I notice that there is a USB port on the front of my hd interactive set top box.

I was wondering what it is for. Does anyone have the answer to my query?

Thank you.

On the Cisco hd interactive set top box, a Western Digital external harddisk can be connected for recording purpose if you applied for the smart tv add on.

Hi there,

You can actually get the smart TV add on at $4.28 a month, + a western digital HDD from any of the StarHub shops. For more details you can head on to .

Hope this helps! (:

It's also powered, so you can charge you iPhone or other USB devices off it Smiley Happy
