Increasing the Programs Limits for Hubstation HD

The new Hubstaion HD(model DCI804SHB) has a much better bigger capacity compared to the previous models. (250 hrs SD or 70 hrs HD).

But I realised that there seems to be an upper limit to the no of recorded and scheduled shows. If I am not mistaken, the number is 99.

Just do the maths. Most shows on SCV are less than 1 hrs. What the use of having 250 hrs SD when I can only have 99 shows recorded + schedule?

Pls consider increasing the program limit via a future firmware upgrade. Thanks!

Once again, thank you for your input.

Thanks for the clarification, KaiBoon.

But why is there a limit in the first place? Shouldn't the limit be the recording limit rather than number of recorded shows?

If I'm recording a lot of 30 mins/1 hr show, I will hit the limit pretty quickly.

Can Starhub consider raising the limit to say 300?

Hi lonewolfsg

Thanks for sharing this with us. I wish to clarify that there is a limit to the number of shows that can be stored on the HubStation HD. However, it is 200 instead of 99.
