Cisco DPC 3925 with D-link DIR 868L
Hi everybody,
Need help here. I've just bought the D-Link 868 but I have a CISCO DPC 3925 connected with my internet service provider which was given by them. The wifi signal is horrible and I do believe that I will need to desable the wireless signal coming from CISCO to be able to use the signal from dlink. If this is correct or not can anyone give me the steps to do this installation / connection?
Thanks a lot!
Fabio.

Follow these steps.
1. Log in to Cisco. Under admin page change operating mode to Bridge and save settings.
2. Disconect all devices from cisco. Now connect your D-Link Internet port to Cisco LAN port. Turn on and off your Cisco. Your D-Link will now have internet. Remember to connect all your devices to D-Link.
Let us okow if you are still stuck.

- Connect to the network using Ethernet cable from the computer to the modem.
- Open your web browser and enter 192.168.0.1
- Enter
- Click Wireless > Basic Settings > Disable Wireless Network
- Click Applications & Gaming > DMZ > Click Enable
- Enter your wireless router IP address
- Click Save Settings and wait 5 minutes for the modem to be rebooted.

Hi KaiBoon, it's me again.
I did all the steps until enabling the DMZ, but while doing that I could not enter the DMZ host IP address. Got message stating that could not be a LAN number. I've put 192.168.0.1 as the IP address.
The internet is not working and I assume is due to not completing the DMZ configuration?
Thanks again for your patience.
Fabio.
