Starhub TV+ box

The Recording function is so useful for viewers who are unable to watch programmes at the designated times.  Omission of this critical function is a big deterrent for subscribers to upgrade to this new box.

the recording function is most useful for busy or travelling subscribers not to miss programmes. the omission of this critical function from the tv+ box is a big disappointment and deterrent for subscribers to upgrade.  singtel tv continues to provide recording function - why cant starhub do it?

Hi @user_0a62cc, let me just share that instead of a recording function, we now have the Time-Shift TV which allows you to navigate through the TV Guide to watch programmes that have aired in the last 24 hours. If you have tuned in to a programme in the middle of its airing, you will also be able to “Start Over” from the beginning. It’s better than taking the trouble to personally record your shows. 

However, please note that Time-Shift TV is available only for selected channels. For the list of channels, please visit this link.

@Carla_P thanks for your quick reply but it doesnt solve the problem. the timeshift is only good for 24 hrs - what if we are away for longer than that? what about recordings we wish to watch over and over again? and how about multiple or overlapping programmes which we can now record on the old box.

obviously starhub doesnt understand viewer preferences. please ask your technical experts to restore the recording function for yr tv+ box - PLEASE!!!
