Singtel Fibre Free Upgrade, How about Starhub?

[ Edited ]

I saw this Thread from forum.hardwarezone.com that Singtel customers are getting free upgrade for their Fibre Broadband!

If you are in 100mbps plan, free upgrade to 150mbps?

If you are in 150mbps plan, free upgrade to 200mbps?

If you are in 300mbps plan, free upgrade to 500mbps?

Refer to this link!

Wow, what a Good deal!

Is this True?

Can Starhub do the same for us?

Please feel free to comment!

Re: Singtel Fibre Free Upgrade, How about Starhub?

No one will complain freebies, the more the merrier, but for most household in Singapore, achieving speed >100Mbps is still a challenge. Most home doesn't have structured cabling to enjoy the higher speed, unless one is willing to invest in cabling or really good wifi routers & adapters. And lets face it, unless one constantly download humongous file, 100Mbps is more than enough for the average folks.

What would be good to have though, assuming on a 100Mbps line would be raising the assured minimum Smiley Tongue No point having a 500Mbps line now when most server are not even capable of delivering >100Mbps? Smiley Tongue
