In this video, we will show you how to set up your Voice-enabled Cable Modem in a few simple steps.
Ensure Voice- enabled Cable Modem is turned off. Connect RF coaxial cable from cable point on wall to the back of the modem.
For ethernet connection, connect LAN cable to ethernet port on PC and to the ethernet port of the modem.
Step 3: For telephone service, connect telephone jumper cable to telephone outlet and to RJ11 port of modem.
Step 4: Locate the AC power cord. To power up, insert into AC connector of modem and into an AC outlet. Modem is ready for use when POWER, DS, US and ONLINE LEDs remain a solid green, usually after 2 to 5 minutes of automatic search.
Step 5: Plug in and power on PC. LINK LED on cable modem should show a blinking amber
Step 6: For wireless router, connect Ethernet cable from modem to WAN port of router
Step 7: Set up router and PC to connect
Step 8: Launch your Internet browser
